1. Many people believe that they will be hy once they arrive at some specific goal they set for themselves. However, more often than not, once you arrive " there" you will still feel dissatisfied, and move your " there" vision to yet another point in the future. By always chasing after another "there," you are never really reciating what you already he right "here." It is important for human beings to keep soberminded about the age-old drive to look beyond the place where you now stand. On one hand, your life is enhanced by your dreams and aspirations. On the other hand, these drives can pull you farther and farther from your enjoyment of your life right now. By learning the lessons of gratitude and abundance, you can bring yourself closer to fulfilling the challenge of living in the present.

2、Once learning stops, vegetation sets in. It is a common fallacy to regard school as the only workshop for the acquisition of knowledge. On the contrary, learning should be a never-ending process, from the cradle to the gre. With the world ever changing so fast, the cease from learning for just a few days will make a person lag behind. What's worse, the animalistic instinct dormant deep in our subconsciousness will come to life, weakening our will to pursue our noble ideal, sing our determination to sweep away obstacles to our success and strangling our desire for the refinement of our character. Lack of learning will inevitably lead to the stagnation of the mind, or even worse, its fossilization, Therefore, to stay mentally young, we he to take learning as a lifelong career.

Because of the university entrance exam, this June, extraordinary. after

Walking in the outside, looking around, the population is up, Anxious for parents, maintaining the order of police, and the vehicle parked in front wheel-dreven, waiting for the teacher to... Hence, we feel dolorous once, and loses, former deep-rooted in the English examination, the end of the ring that moment, destined to become the drain. after

When you are on the sand, you only sand. - signature

God put my heart loses in the sand, and I was stranded. I was surrounded by long endless sand. Grel dusky, gloomy.

I he some lost, this is my doomed position?

When night comes, and the sky, and I look through envy those who admire to stars. They bright is dazzing, radiation eternal glory. However, I can see the stars of the sky behind deep. Is boundless darkness foil a dazzling star.

But I'm not ready.

I turned around to see the other one.

Stormy seas are angry, destroy all breeds. Out of heen has been a huge tiny light beams. Tall cliff edge, standing in a storm of some of the women they. But her hands, but as the pillar stand, grasping the bealon single-handedly. Love's grams, the sad sister, she does not choose the home guard in the shelter of the younger brother, she went quietly, but stood in the cliffs, with courage and perseverance lit the lamp of hope of butter.

Tall cliff, let the light into the astral,. I admire her for the family, find the watchman, although her watch becomes eternal light, but her, she had to stand the butter has become a permanent position.

I started thinking, thinking of my own position. When the day comes. The sun is hot all masters. I surprise at the sun, it is a unique position, one can make things look.

But I fear the idea for my funny. The sun, which is who can replace, who will be?

A great figure from before me, for the earth tremor. He chased the sun. A He never seems to exhaustion. A pair of solid feet long, yet a cocoon son, still remains confident enthusiasm. He is still with big swords head towards the sun, it is his constant coordinates, his best to return to the origin of life.

The hot sun burns his eyes, but I see his eyes with light burst power, as has been burning fire into two.

Suddenly I mourn for him, he could not to pursue a his position.

But I think is wrong. I saw the glory of his father ended in chase, he entered the sun if wood in the light of nirvana, burning. There he got eternal rest, the eternal life, ChengYiZun great totem ever burning.

I was shocked. Brown on the run, to keep the position in his heart. In fact, he has run in finding their position, whatever finally success.

I finally understand, no commanded position, nothing can reach position, unless you always put yourself in the sand.

While I hen't weathering, a grain of sand, and escaped me for my position, I value.

I believe that as long as I want, courage and faith will let me light, the light of gold.

She had been shopping with her Mom in Wal-Mart. She must he been 6 years old, this beautiful brown haired, freckle-faced image of innocence. It was pouring outside. The kind of rain that gushes over the top of rain gutters, so much in a hurry to hit the Earth it has no time to flow down the spout. We all stood there under the awning and just inside the door of the Wal-Mart. We waited, some patiently, others 4)irritated because nature messed up their hurried day. I am always mesmerized by rainfall. I get lost in the sound and sight of the heens washing away the dirt and dust of the world. Memories of running, splashing so carefree as a child come pouring in as a welcome reprieve from the worries of my day. Her voice was so sweet as it broke the hypnotic trance we were all caught in. "Mom, let's run through the rain," she said. "What?" Mom asked. "Let's run through the rain!" She repeated. "No, honey. We'll wait until it slows down a bit," Mom replied. This young child waited about another minute and repeated: "Mom, let's run through the rain." "We'll get soaked if we do," Mom said. "No, we won't, Mom. That's not what you said this morning," the young girl said as she tugged at her Mom's arm." "This morning? When did I say we could run through the rain and not get wet?" "Don't you remember? When you were talking to Daddy about his cancer, you said, 'If God can get us through this, he can get us through anything!" The entire crowd stopped dead silent. I swear you couldn't hear anything but the rain. We all stood silently. No one came or left in the next few minutes. Mom paused and thought for a moment about what she would say. Now some would laugh it off and scold her for being silly. Some might even ignore what was said. But this was a moment of affirmation in a young child's life. Time when innocent trust can be nurtured so that it will bloom into faith. "Honey, you are absolutely right. Let's run through the rain. If get wet, well maybe we just needed washing," Mom said. Then off they ran. We all stood watching, smiling and laughing as they darted past the cars and. They held their shopping bags over their heads just in case. They got soaked. But they were followed by a few who screamed and laughed like children all the way to their cars. And yes, I did. I ran. I got wet. I needed washing. I hope you still take the time to run through the rain. Run Through the Rain

Afternoon was Mrs. Conroy's forite time of day. After a hard day at work, her eyes were tired and her feet hurt. She enjoyed the nice long nap she took on the bus. Mrs. Conroy had made friends with the bus driver, Mr. Angstrom. He always woke her up before her stop. She usually felt fresh as a daisy(精神饱满的) when she got off the bus.

 But today was different. Mr. Angstrom wasn't driving. A small man in a wrinkled uniform sat in the driver's seat.

 "Where's Mr. Angstrom?" asked Mrs. Conroy, dropping her money into the box."I don't know. Sick, I guess. I just work here, lady. Step to the rear."Mrs. Conroy hoped that Mr. Angstrom was all right. She didn't like this new driver. She decided not to sleep on the way home today. She didn't want to ask this driver to wake her. He didn't look like the type who'd want to do anyone a for.

 Mrs. Conroy looked out the window. It was a warm afternoon. Though she tried to keep her eyes open, the gentle rocking of the bus had a lulling effect. Within a few minutes her eyes closed. Her head dropped to her shoulders. In spite of herself, Mrs. Conroy fell fast asleep.

 The next thing Mrs. Conroy knew, a hand was on her shoulder. Someone was shaking her awake.

 "Wake up, lady. We've come to the end of the line. Wake up."

 Mrs. Conroy blinked and opened her eyes. The bus driver looked down at her. "I said, this is the end of the line, lady. Time to get off the bus."

 Mrs. Conroy peered out the window. "Where am I?" she asked. "I was supposed to get off at Es Avenue."

 "You're at the last stop, lady. Come on, get off the bus. I he a schedule to keep to."

 Mrs. Conroy was hing trouble waking up. She staggered to her feet.The bus driver took her arm and helped her down the aisle. As she stepped off the bus, she felt a sense of panic. "Wait a minute," she said in a shrill voice. "This isn't Es Avenue. Where am I? How can I get home?"

 "Cool off, lady. I told you, you're at the end of the line. We all make it here sooner or later."

 "But why can't I ride back with you?" she pleaded. "I he the fare!"

 "Sorry, lady," he said as he closed the door. "It's against the rules."

 Mrs. Conroy watched the bus disear down the road. She looked around and tried to figure out what part of the city she was in. Suddenly the sun seemed awfully bright.

 Mrs. Conroy squinted(斜视). She didn't recognize this place. There were no trees around, no street signs, and no people. The city seemed to he ended miles back. She couldn't get her bearings. There was nothing to see in any direction. Nothing at all. Mrs. Conroy wondered if she were still dreaming.

 "Are you ready, Madam?"

 The voice came from behind her. Mrs. Conroy whirled around, her heart beating rapidly.

 "Who? What? Are you speaking to me?"

 A tall, handsome man in a blue pin-striped suit stepped forward. His suit reminded her of the one that her boss, Mr. Burton, always wore. What was a businessman doing so far out here in the country?

 The man smiled. "Yes, Mrs. Conroy. I've come to meet you. It's time to go now."

 "Go where? What are you talking about? And how do you know my name?"

 The man in the blue suit smiled.

 "I know it must be very confusing, Mrs. Conroy. Most people seem to feel that way at first. But as we go along, everything will become quite clear." He took her by the arm. "It's all right," he said kindly. "Just come with me."

 "No! I'm not going anywhere with you. Why should I? I don't even know who you are," Mrs. Conroy said. She pulled away from the man and stepped back.

 The man smiled gently. "I'm only an assistant, Mrs. Conroy," he said.

 "Well, Mr. Assistant, there must be some mistake. I just fell asleep and stayed on the bus too long. Then the driver made me get off. He wouldn't take me back with him! He talked some nonsense about rules. I'm going to call the company and report him!"

 "He was just doing his job, Mrs. Conroy," the man said patiently.

 "But he left me out here alone," Mrs. Conroy said. "Now it's getting late. I he to get home and fix dinner. What kind of bus driver refuses to take passengers?"

 The man in the blue suit stepped toward Mrs. Conroy and took her arm again. This time she didn't resist. He patted her hand and smiled down at her. "You'll he to forgive the driver for being rude, Mrs. Conroy. He's new at the job. But he was only following orders. You see, Mrs. Conroy, this is the end of the line. You don't he to worry about getting home and fixing dinner. Our passengers only go one way."

YOU. In all time before now and in all time to come, there has never been and will never be anyone just like you. You are unique in the entire history and future of the universe. Wow! Stop and think about that. You're better than one in a million, or a billion, or a 1)gazillion…

You are the only one like you in a sea of infinity!!!

You're amazing! You're awesome! And by the way, T, you're it. As amazing and awesome as you already are, you can be even more so. Beautiful young people are the whimsey of nature, but beautiful old people are true works of art. But you don't become "beautiful" just by virtue of the aging process.

Real beauty comes from learning, growing, and loving in the ways of life. That is the Art of Life. You can learn slowly, and sometimes painfully, by just waiting for life to hen to you. Or you can choose to accelerate your growth and intentionally devour life and all it offers. You are the artist that paints your future with the brush of today.

Paint a Masterpiece. God gives every bird its food, but he doesn't throw it into its nest. Wherever you want to go, whatever you want to do, it's truly up to you.

The Rainy Day 雨天

The day is cold, and dark, and dreary;

It rains, and the wind is never weary;

The vine still clings to the moldering wall,

But at every gust the dead lees fall,

And the day is dark and dreary.

My life is cold and dark and dreary;

It rains and the wind is never weary;

My though still cling to the moldering past,

But the hopes of youth fall thick in the blast,

And the days are dark and dreary.

Be still, sad heart! And cease repining;

Behind the clouds is the sun still shining;

Thy fate is the common fate of all,

Into each life some rain must fall,

Some days must be dark and dreary.

天冷、阴暗、沉闷;

下着雨,风也刮个不停;

我的生活寒冷、阴郁、沉闷;

下着雨,风也刮个不停;

安静吧,忧伤的心!别再悔恨;

乌云后面太阳依然辉煌灿烂;

I Believe

我相信

I believe, for every drop of rain that falls,

A flower grows…

I believe that somewhere in the darkest night,

A candle glows…

I believe for everyone who goes astray,

Someone will come,

To show the way,

I believe, I believe…

I believe, above the storm the smallest prayer,

Will still be heard…

I believe, that someone in that great somewhere,

Hears every word…

Every time I hear a newborn baby cry,

Or touch a leaf,

Or see the sky,

Then I know why, I believe!

The Bridge

Once upon a time two brothers who lived on neighboring farms fell into conflict.

One morning there was a knock on John’s door. He opened it to find a man with a carpenter’s toolbox.

“I’m looking for a few days’ work,” he said. “Perhaps you would he a few small jobs here and there I could help with?”

“Yes,” said the elder brother. “I do he a job for you. Look across the creek at that farm. That’s my neighbor; in fact, it’s my younger brother’s. Last week there was a meadow between us, but he took his bulldozer to the river levee, and now there is a creek between us. See that pile of lumber by the barn? I want you to build me a fence—an 8-foot fence—so I won’t need to see his face any more.”

The carpenter said, “I think I understand the situation. I’ll be able to do a job that pleases you.”

The elder brother had to go to town on business, so he helped the carpenter get the materials ready, and then he was off. About sunset when John returned, the carpenter had just finished his job. John’s eyes opened wide. There was no fence there at all.

It was a bridge—a bridge stretching from one side of the creek to the other! A fine piece of work, handrails and all and the neighbor, his younger brother, was coming across, his hand outstretched.

“You are quite a fellow to build this bridge after all I’ve said and done.” The two brothers stood at each end of the bridge, and then they met in the middle, taking each other’s hand, then embracing each other.

They turned to see the carpenter raise his toolbox on his shoulder. “No, wait! Stay a few days. I’ve a lot of other projects for you,” said John. “I’d love to stay on.” The carpenter said, “but I he many more bridges to build.”

The story goes that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend sled the other one in the face.

The one who got sled felt hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand: "Today my best friend sled me in the face."

They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been sled got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend sed him.

After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone: "Today my best friend sed my life."

The friend who had sled and sed his best friend asked him, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now you write on a stone. Why?"

The other friend replied: "When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But when someone does something good for us, we must engre it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."

A Beautiful Scenery

In campus, the boys and the girls are beautiful scenery. They like to imagine, and to daydream. They seem to know everything but they know nothing thoroughly. They want to do everything but they are too impatient and easily irritated. They hope to fly in the sky but fear the dark clouds; and they hope to swim in the ocean, but are afraid of the furious wes.

The boys like to ride an old bicycle, and run wildly in the street like madmen. They wish they could escape from the school and trel all around the world.

The girls like to wear red skirts and tight clothes. They admire shoulder-long hair and cool suits; they worship pop stars like Liu Dehua and Zhang Xinzhe and keep their pictures in their diaries as well as in their heart.

The boys like to sing, “I am a wolf from the north”, however terrible it sounds. Then they throw away their books and rush to the playground with a football.

The girls like to play with their hair. They plaid, and then take it apart. How can they put their complicated feelings in good order?

The boys and girls like to make a daily plan in the morning, but they always find that the plan is still on the paper when the sun sets.

The boys and girls he tried for hundreds of thousands of times to change those theories and formula which he been obeyed for millions of years on this planet. They are eager to burn themselves with the passion of life, and they are looking forward to a completely free lifestyle. But, they can't. What they can do is to walk out of the campus and buy some gum. They chew and chew, until it is tasteless, but they are still unwilling to spit it out.
